The City of Oneida is updating its Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code. On the heels of its a Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant, this effort will build on Oneida’s revitalization momentum by providing the strategic smart growth planning, policy, and regulatory framework necessary to further the City’s transformation beyond the geographic limits of the DRI.

Driven by the community, the plan includes goals, objectives, and recommendations that aim to achieve the community’s vision. Key community priorities and projects are also identified in the plan to support future applications for grant funding.

Overseen by the Project Advisory Committee (PAC), the process includes stakeholder and public engagement, grounded in the project’s strategic goals and a commitment to gaining meaningful input that will inform plan development and help ensure successful implementation. 

Throughout the project, we will be looking for community input and feedback at various open houses and engagement events.
